Dog of the Month

Meet Stromboli!
Don’t judge a book by its cover! This is Stromboli, a 4 year old bully breed mix with the personality of a lap dog. He loves to cuddle and is an absolute favorite of house guests. He wants to be everyone’s best friend! He was found with wounds to his face that have left him with some tough-looking scars, but he is all healed up and ready for a forever home. Stromboli currently lives with 3 other dog siblings and loves to play and cuddle with them, but he was apprehensive at first! He could do well as an only dog or with dog siblings, if given the time to adjust to new furry friends and offered a slow introduction. He is eager to please and very food motivated, low to moderate energy level. He is crate trained and potty trained. He just can’t wait to find someone who can see past his scars and see him for the goofy boy he is!

Saving Hope Ranch and Sanctuary
Texas is in the midst of a major overpopulation crisis, where wonderful animals are being euthanized daily due to lack of space. This year alone, we’ve rescued 1,812 animals. At Saving Hope Animal Rescue, we are determined to change the heartbreaking reality of our crisis in North Texas. Having already saved over 10,000 animals since our inception, and currently caring for more than 1,100 dogs and cats in foster homes, we know we can do even more. Our impact could be greater with expansion of our facilities. Together, we can save countless more lives.
